REVAMPING!! The wiki is currently being remodeled. Sorry for any awkward pages.
The Triumvirate uses the MedievalFactions plugin for grief protection and land management. Below is a comprehensive guide to using the plugin. If you can't find your answer here, you can check out the MedievalFactions official wiki.
Let's get you understanding the basics of using MedievalFactions...
To see a list of all of the server's factions, use /f list.
For more info on a specific faction or player, use /f info [faction].
If you aren't in a faction, your stuff won't be protected!
To join a faction, a member of the faction must first invite you. They can do this with /f invite [player].
Once you've received an invite, accept it with /f join [faction].
If you would rather lead your own faction or just need to protect your solo land, use /f create [faction] to create your very own faction.
To invite start inviting players, use /f invite [player].
By default, only officers and owners of factions can claim land, and only owners can toggle autoclaim. Check with your faction for their specific permissions. Land is claimed by chunks, not individual blocks.
To check if the land is claimed, use /f map.
To claim land, use /f claim.
To unclaim land, use /f unclaim.
Autoclaim claims land where any player of the faction walks. Use it sparingly when few other faction members are online.
To unclaim all land, use /f unclaimall.
The land system relies on a concept of power.
You gain power though playing.
You can also gain power by killing players in different factions.
You lose power every time you die.Â
Here are the other, more advanced features of the plugin...
You can have various ranks with different permissions and responsibilities in your faction. (Faction owner only).
Use /f role [list|set|create|delete|view|rename] to manage the different ranks in your faction.
Other factions are only able to interact and meddle with your claims if your factions are at war.
Only faction owners and officers can declare war.
You can view who you are at war with using /f info.
To declare war, use /f declarewar [faction]. Please don't go declaring war on people for no reason. Otherwise, there will be a server coalition formed against you.
To offer peace to a faction, use /f mp [faction]. Both factions will need to make peace before peace can be had.
To conquer someone's land, use /f claim in their territory. This is only possible if you are at war and if they have more land than power.
Factions can ally themselves with one another to form coalitions and even share land.
Allies can't declare war on each other.
When someone declares war on a faction, all of the allies of that factions declare war back.
To view who you are allied with, use /f info.
To request an alliance with another faction, use /f ally [faction]. Both factions must request an alliance before an alliance is made.
To break an alliance with another faction, use /f breakalliance [faction].
By locking certain blocks, this makes it so only you can interact with them, instead of them being accessible by your whole faction.
You can only lock blocks on your faction's claims.
To lock something, type /f lock and right click the block. Use /f lock cancel to cancel this.
To lock something, type /f unlock and right click the block. Use /f unlock cancel to cancel this.
To check who has access to something, type /f cc and right click it. Use /f cc cancel to cancel this.
To grant access to something for someone, type /f ga [player] and right click it. Use /f ga cancel to cancel this.
To revoke access to something for someone, type /f ra [player] and right click it. Type /f ra cancel to cancel this.
Factions can become vassals of other factions. When one faction agrees to be another's vassal, they are essentially swearing loyalty.
If a faction has one or more vassals, they are considered a liege.
Lieges can be vassals as well.
Lieges are granted bonus power proportional to their vassals' power. If a liege drops below 50% of its maximum cumulative power, it will no longer receive their vassal bonuses.
Vassals cannot be declared war on by any factions except those with the same liege.
Use /f vassalize [faction] to request to make another faction your vassal.
Use /f swearfealty [faction] to become a vassal to a liege.
Use /f declareindependence to become an independent faction.
